I am happy to answer your questions

WHAT EXACTLY DOES COACHING MEAN?

Coaching is a professional support process that helps people clarify their own goals, activate resources, and develop solutions from within. It's not about therapy or counseling, but rather a structured, equal collaboration.

Within the framework of the St. Gallen Coaching Model (SCM), this means that the coach uses targeted methods to reveal unconscious patterns and promote self-reflection in the client. The coach doesn't provide ready-made answers, but rather creates the space in which the client develops their own solutions. This creates sustainable change – supported by clarity, trust, and inner strength.

HOW MUCH DOES COACHING COST?

The initial consultation is always free of charge.

A single session usually lasts one hour and costs CHF 160 and is only a guideline.

Since a coaching process is very individual, packages are put together individually.

What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?

Coaching activates the client’s problem-solving skills, mentoring conveys the mentor’s experience.

Do all providers work the same?

Unfortunately, the term "coach" is not protected in many countries. This means that anyone can call themselves that – regardless of whether they have completed a thorough training or not. This development has unfortunately led to many providers on the market lacking the necessary qualifications or being completely unaware of the implications of their actions. The result: Clients invest time, trust, and money without receiving the desired benefit – in the worst case, even causing harm.

It is therefore difficult for those seeking advice to separate the wheat from the chaff.

What model is being used here?

I offer my services based on the St. Gallen Value-Oriented Coaching Model (c). This model's methodology is tried-and-tested, scientifically validated, practical, and focuses on the client's values, goals, and needs. My training in this approach enables me to support people professionally, responsibly, and with lasting benefits.

Furthermore, I continuously pursue further training to ensure that I always stay up-to-date and can apply the methods that offer my clients the greatest possible added value.

Where and in what formats does the coaching take place?

The format is flexible. I offer both online and in-person sessions. However, some sessions make more sense when conducted in-person. We tailor this to each individual's needs and personal preferences.

Can’t an AI also take on the role of coach?

As helpful as artificial intelligence may be in many areas, true coaching thrives on human interaction. A coach doesn't just listen, but perceives nuances, senses emotions, recognizes body language, and can respond individually to the personality and life situation of the other person. Trust, empathy, and authenticity cannot be programmed. AI can provide methods or information, but it cannot build a genuine relationship. Coaching means walking a path together—with human proximity, understanding, and responsibility.

What is special about the St. Gallen model and how does it differ from other models; what does this mean for me?

Most models focus solely on a goal to be achieved. The St. Gallen Model incorporates the goal merely as an aspect that indicates deeper needs. It views the person holistically in five dimensions (professional, methodological, social, personal, value-based) and combines scientific foundation with a clear practical orientation. You not only develop short-term solutions, but also strengthen your self-responsibility and self-efficacy in the long term – in alignment with your personal values.
